This book it about a mother reading a lullaby to her child. It gives different situations with different types of animals with their babies. I think this is a good book for children especially when it is time for them to go to sleep. ( )

This is a good book to show examples of rhyme and teach rhyming to children. It can also be used in a lesson on animals. ( )

This is a story of a mother singing lullabies to her son at bedtime. She starts each lullaby with "If you were my." There are lullabies about bunnies, bears, kittens, ducklings, and a puppy. At the end she sings, "If you were my baby." This is a very sweet book to read to toddlers at bedtime. ( )

This story is about all types of different animals, and the love they share between parents. It has great text and cute art!

One of my favorite bedtime read-alouds... gentle, nice combo of words and singing, well-known tunes. rwj ( )
