Storm and Tavis have an interesting relationship through this book. It was facinating to watch it develop. My favorite part in this book is when Storm explains to her father that women can feel desire and passion the same way men do. That they can also miss it when the man isn't there.

The only reason I didn't give the book a full 5 stars is a scene between Storm and Tavis's brother. (I'm not saying more about it. That will spoil things.) Still, I highly recommend this book. It was an excellent read. ( )

A New York Times Bestseller

All along the border, battle was a way of life as both Englishmen and Scots rode off across the moors to do as their fathers had done and their fathers before them. So when Storm Eldon was kidnapped by her family's ancestral enemies, she knew there were rules to be honored by both sides. If her stepmother agreed to the ransom, Storm would not be harmed by the handsome Highland warrior who held her captive. But as days of waiting turned into weeks, it began to be clear that in this contest of wills, no one was fighting fair.

Available only in Core 7.
