I found the book very enjoyable but was a bit confused by the author's use of paranormal moments to effectively hamstring the building tension in several spots towards the end of the novel. ( )350/350 This book is a great one, the whole time I read it, I kept trying to guess what would happen next. Its about a psychic detecive, Lucas. He is solving a murder case, where the kidnapper kidnaps his victims and kills them within a time limit, and flees away with his money. Lucas, or Luke, is a detective that sences peoples fears and fells what they feel. But what he doesnt know is that he is playing a very deadly game. stories about people who have special powers and help the local sheriff or FBI in catching the killers.they form a group called (Special Crime Unit). It has got everything suspence, thriller and crime. I got this paperback because it was mainly the only interesting one they were selling at the hospital I was at the moment. Needless to say, it isn't very good. This is a great story that really keeps you guessing right to the end! It's the first in a trilogy about a team of psychic special agents. The team is led by Lucas Jordan to hunt down a serial killer that seems to always be 2 steps ahead of them until Samantha Burke (a carnival fortune teller and former lover of Lucas) steps in to help. no reviews | add a review
