If you do not know that India is populated by dirty, filthy, unsanitary people, you will when you get through with these two lectures. The Ober-Gamereau lecture (especially the art work) is worth the volume. Stoddard knows how to use those adjectives. You will come away from his lectures with an opinion. Sometimes it bears little if any resemblance to reality, but it will be strong. ( )
