( ) Something I really like about Stephanie Laurens books are that her female characters are never flighty or cowardly. Antonia, her female lead here, is portrayed as very astute and knows her own mind. Her pursuit of Philip is enjoyable as is the fun watching him turn the tables and pursue her. A rather tame book when compared to Laurens Cynster novels yet very enjoyable for me all the same. no reviews | add a review
