More or less an updating of a book Sutherland co-wrote in the early 1960s, in the wake of "Kim" Philby's defection to the USSR; the update being triggered by the revelation of Sir Anthony Blunt as the "Fourth Man" in the group of Cambridge University-educated spies recruited by the KGB's predecessors. I didn't find the book to be terribly focused; a lot of it is a simple recapitulation of the case. Sutherland doesn't appear to think much of Blunt's contributions to espionage; nor Burgess' for the matter. Good for outlining the case, but not much more, I think. ( )
