Some of the best writing today is found in the independent press if one is willing to sift it from the chaff. This is one of those great finds. Mary Paddock creates characters that come to life, and that, for me, is the key to engaging fiction. Her stories are tightly written and flawlessly edited. I’d recommend this ebook to anyone who enjoys a great story well told. ( )
