A great introduction to typography. Each visual element is introduced to the reader with plenty of examples. This is not a dry technical book. Gerard Unger explores and explains with great enthusiasm. He's a designer who is interested in how readers are influenced by the form of the letters. You'll learn a little history of typography as well. As is fitting for a book on this topic, the book is well produced, lovely paper, clear printing and nicely laid out. ( )
