So, not bad, but not too much action, all of the battles of space-based, ships throwing slugs / firing missiles at each other with some lasers , the action is redundant and if you've read One battle you've read them all.all in all, a not bad book, not too many technical details about every instrument on the ship which is a VERY good thing IMO :) if you like naval battles in space, you should read it, still [b:Helmsman|446262|The Helmsman (The Helmsman, 1)|Bill Baldwin|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1174849121s/446262.jpg|434965] series were better at this thing.
