Book description

Set in 11th century Japan during the Heian period. Lady Aoi, trained in the healing arts, witnesses evil in the imperial court: a strange fire, a murdered girl, and a noble minister accused of the crimes. When she becomes the target of malice, Lady Aoi must flee in order to expose the criminals and spies threatening the imperial powers.
