Seemed like a very talkie episode, but that's okay. I don't want or need lots of ACTION or bloodshed. Quite the contrary -- the minimal of all that is why I like this series, yet there were not as many twists and turns as Ms. Gilman usually serves up.

Still, very enjoyable, and happy to have spent such a lovely time with Emily Pollifax & company in Sicilia this time. ( )

I should probably put a note about the language, the swear words in the books. They are here, but I never noticed them as a child. I probably glossed over them as wordss old fictional characters use and thus not something I cared to include in my vocabulary. ( )

I'd forgotten about this series until recently when I picked up a Mrs. Pollifax book at a used book shop (Friends of Agoura Library--library basement every Saturday. Awesome! WL Library has a used book shop open every day and I like it, too). Nice little escape books. ( )

I love all the Pollifax mysteries, the main character Emily is a hoot and I love all the trouble and adventure she falls into as a CIA 'agent'. ( )
