... I have been reading and written since before I could walk or even talk. The first romance novel that I had read was To Catch an Heiress bu Julia Quinn. I was thirteen when I picked it up from a pile that my sister was going to give to some place or another, and she let me keep it.
... #15 - To Catch an Heiress by Julia Quinn has been in the TBR pile since 01/16/2008. I am a huge Julia Quinn fan. Though this pre-Bridgerton book is not as polished as her recent work, she has a fabulous sense of humor. Her characters manage to place themselves in the most outrageous ... To Catch an Heiress by Julia Quinn ... authors and I have reread all of the Bridgerton series several times. I really liked How to Marry a Marquis and To Catch an Heiress. Quinn has such a wonderful sense of humor which really comes through in the two previous books I mentioned.

My favorite Julia Quinn books are: The Viscount Who Loved Me and To Catch an Heiress.
I am waiting for the second The Lost Duke of Wyndham book to be released Mr. Cavendish, I Presume before the I read the first one.

To Catch an Heiress by Julia Quinn
""Why the hell didn't you run down the stairs when you heard us coming?" ... I was in a big hurry for my book???).... so in the meantime, I decided to whittle down the TBR pile a bit.
I read To Catch An Heiress and How to Marry a Marquis by Julia Quinn. I've now officially read all of Julia Quinn's backlist! I also read The Boy Next Door by Meg Cabot ... ... horrors). So now I'm waiting for it to arrive in the mail (hurry up, supersaver shipping!). In the meantime, I'm reading To Catch An Heiress by Julia Quinn. It's kind of funny so far. ... favourite yet.
I've read pretty much all her other novels, though, and three of my absolute favourites are Splendid, To Catch an Heiress, and Everything and the Moon.
Julia Quinn has a great writing style. She throws in enough humour to make the story 'down to earth', if you ... morphidae, To catch an heiress is the first in a set of books, so it is ok to start with it. The other one is How to marry a marquis.
Julia I haven't yet read To Catch an Heiress but I know that The Duke and I had be loving Julia Quinn by the second paragraph. I have only had one other author who has drawn me in so quickly. I personally say go with Duke but it doesn't matter much because if you like her you will end up reading them ... I have To Catch an Heiress as my first Quinn to read. Is that a good choice or should I go with The Duke and I?
