Usually the books are better than the movie/tv show, in this case the TV show is better... ( )

I like this series a lot but it should have ended with book three. The fourth book was just really pointless and was more or less a repeat of what the last three books had been saying. However, it didn't take away from the rest of the series - it just didn't add anything. ( )

luv this book. it's really sad Elena dies though. L.J.Smith, of course, brings Elena back to life though. I know a lot of people don't like the character Elena, but i certainly do. She seems very selfish and hot-headed in the beggining of the first book and i didn't like her much. but i like her now.
overall, i enjoyed the book.
