i felt like the format (written in text form) is geared toward younger girls, while the content (lots of sex, drinking, drug references) is definitely geared for older girls. not a fan. ( )

This book continues the life of Maddie, Zoe and Angela. This book takes them into their junior year and deals with the life lessons that many teenagers deal with. This one was again on the Most Challenged list for the ALA and was once again something that I could see why parents would have issues with it. However, with the appropriate age this book is actually quite insightful for the influential age. ( )

Sequel to ttyl. Angela, Maddie and Zoe communicate through the teen communication medium of choice: chatting onlie (and occasional text messaging). This school year, Zoe falls for her preschool co-worker Doug, Maddie is fooling around and smoking pot with Chive and Angela is forced to move to California when her father gets a new job. Messages of support, admonishments and humor (Maddie googlewhacks terms on the search engine) bounce back and forth through cyberspace. A little more sexually graphic and profane than the previous title.

Does your life evolve around drama than you are perfect for the book. TTFN is a book that's filled with text messages from girls that have drama in them. The book is about three girls that text each other 24/7 they barley have a life this book is terrible it almost makes you feel like you are apart of their drama. This is why kids these days are interested in school all they do is text about who has a weird facve who likes who and who smokes like really that is junta book with letters it is so boring to read. I gave this book a zero star rating becuase again it is all drama i still have a headache still to this day. ( )

This one was a little better than the first in the series. It read a little slower, but I got through it. I still cringe at their use of "anywayz" and abbreviations ("u", "ur", "c u l8r", etc.) but I guess that comes with the territory of a story written in IMs.

Just a caution when possibly recommending this book: it does contain some drug use, and while it results in punishment of the character, it's kind of glossed over. Young readers probably won't care, since they've probably watched worse on TV and/or are aware of worse going on in their schools, but their parents might object. ( )
