The third and final issue of Marco Corona's Reflections is a worthy send-off for this series, one of the more beautiful and enigmatic titles in the Ignatz Series from Fantagraphics Books. This roughly, but lovingly, drawn story of adolescent pain and adult reserve is a wonderful stroll through memories, dreams, and the power of daydreams to weave those things together as a salve and a form of self-therapy. All around, Reflections is a great exploration of adult themes in the comics form, and manages that trick while never losing sight of the pure pleasure of the medium. ( )
