This essay will be of value to those interested in a classic Jungian treatment of creativity in women, but probably not to many others. Luke, a distinguished Jungian, addresses the issue of how women can open to their creativity as they struggle to free themselves from oppressive roles and ideas of their feminine nature. Not to say that the issue has been resolved, but other ideas plus decades of experience have moved us to a place where this treatment of the issue, however insightful, reads as pretty dated. ( )
