fantasy fiction and the setting is the East Pole where the Sand Men and Sand Gals, the Cupids, the Toothfaires, etc. live. We get to find out about these creatures...like how do Cupids do their stuff. The story is Helen, who discovers is a Transartist, a person who can draw things and makes them real. In her adventures at the East Pole, she learns the value of inner beautry. The book is also illustrated to show what these marvelous creatures look like. A real good read for girls!
