The Iditarod, known as the last great race, is the longest and most dangerous race in the world. Run in March each year, contestants face over 1000 miles of unforgiving winds from the North Pole and the mountainous wastelands of Alaska. Nat is a young native woman who is passionate about her ancestral land. She always dreamt of running the race, but has chosen to work with her fiance, on the oilfields in the north.
