Teenager Samantha Edmonds is looking forward to a tramping and camping trip organised by teacher Mr Collins. The group of seven teenagers initially enjoy the trip and the challenges it produces. Then, on day four of the camp whilst they are staying in an isolated lighthouse cottage, the worst happens and the group must band together to ensure the survival of one of their group, and cope with the loss of another. Fantastic read. ( )

Thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend to senior primary level. Gripping and exciting. Some minor language and sexual references. ( )
