Scott Sigler’s Infected surprised me by being one of the best books I’ve read this year.
The initial chapters describe a strange, alien virus that forms bizarre, triangular ... Okay, I LOVED Infected. That was the best (non-Stephen King) horror novel I've read in a long, long time.
I knocked out a review for it and have tried to avoid any spoilers. I see Contagious is due out in paperback in a couple of days. I'm planning on picking it up right away.
I'm ... I believe Contagious has a satisfactory ending. It ties up some things nicely from Infected. #224 - Oh yeah. I'm enjoying the heck outta Infected. I'm kind of glad I waited this long to read it as I see that Contagious is due out in paperback in a few weeks.
I'm enjoying all three of the storylines. When I read the synopsis I thought that having the main character be an ex-football ... #221 - I believe you'll very much enjoy Infected. The sequel, Contagious, is good as well.
#223 - Most bookstores which have a horror section are small sections dominated by those few. My local Border's is the same. However, I've found that my local Books-A-Million, while it doesn't have ... ... review if anyone is interested. One and a half stars, my friends.
On the up side of things, I started Scott Sigler's Infected and it is very, very good (at least the 44 pages I've read so far have been good). ... by Terry Brooks as I want to read the more recent ones but couldn't remember a lot of the old stories. Also recently read Infected and Contagious by Scott Sigler, both good reads, could definitely see them making a movie out of the two books.

Infected by Scott Sigler. This looks to be a creepy thrill-ride! I've had Infected on by TBR for a while now and am also eagerly looking forward to Let the Right One In. I see both are now available as trade paperbacks. I also went by my local Border's during my lunch break and balked at the $15 initially. But I'm weakening and will soon find myself back ... Oooh, I read Infected last fall. That book made me wince more than once! ... 'Oh, I have to read that one!' covers.
(I'm sort of cross=posting from another thread now) I also just picked up Infected and Let the Right One In. So many books, so little time. This book was strange. Very, very strange. It ended quite abruptly with the foundation for a sequel. I will not read the sequel, if there is one.

50. Infected by Scott Sigler -- Another great book by Sigler. It's not quite as enjoyable as Ancestor and Earthcore, but still a very good read.
