Definitely worth a read (and reread). The writing style is fast paced and exciting, to the point that you forget you're reading a book. The story is compelling and powerful, with many interwoven threads, and the ending leaves you wanting more. I, for one, am looking forward to hearing more from this author. ( )

Book description
Who could face a demon in all its infernal glory if one were to make its way into the physical realm? Making his literary debut with The Demon s Folly, author Michael Kaler reveals a fantasy world where the heroes must learn to accept their differences in order to answer that question. Dwarves, elves, wizards, warriors, and more gather together as unexpected allies to free an oppressed human kingdom, not to mention save the world. This fast-paced, character-driven story has something for everyone, regardless of whether the reader is a fan of high fantasy or more practically minded. With heroes ranging from the somewhat traditional to the truly unique, how can anyone resist the beginning of a new fantasy series? So gather your courage, invite a few friends along and see if you can take advantage of The Demon s Folly.
