This is a chapter book about a pajama party and three best friends. The storyteller, Casey, thinks it is only possible to have one best friend. Her older sister has a pajama party for her thirteenth birthday. Casey tells her best friends that pajama parties are not fun, but her friends think they will be. The three best friends decide to have their own pajama party. The girls sing, dance, roll out sleeping bags, eat cookies, and color pictures until midnight. One of the girls got upset during storytime and went to Casey's mom. The other two girls tried cheering her up, but it was not working. The girl's mother came to pick her up. This book is good for older students. It is a beginner chapter book. I like this book because it tells the story in language that is easy for children to understand.
