I was pleasantly suprised by this book. The back made it sound rather tacky, but it was actually quite enjoyable and quite a fun read. The characters are both unique and actually possess personality (as opposed to being cardboard and two-dimensional). The romance does get kind of bogged down in the plot (which is a little bit more plot than I like in a romance novel) but it's still entertaining. Unfortunately, the plot has nothing to do with the actual romance, which I think gets in the way a little. I kind of wish romance novels wouldn't have plots at all, or if they did, they should be plots that relate directly to the story. This is stil a good book, though. ( )
