Really good. Having already read most of the Drizzt books I know where Cadderly, Danica, Ivan and Pikel will eventually end up, so I know they're not going to die. What makes these books even more interesting to me is now seeing the tiny hints of their backstory and history fleshed out. This book did not end as I expected, but it was a good ending. Very enjoyable book. ( )

this book was one of his best works ever. The plot was exiciting and the non stop action was always keeping me on my toes.I:1). the best part was when the trees came to life and helped out all of the elves. But in my opinon the dwarves careied the book it was not funny until the dwarves came in to the book. The way the story was told I felt as if I was whaching the whole thing happening. ( )

Cadderly continues to battle evil along with his friends. He also continues to try and come to grips with his faith, and the apparent failure of the clerics that lead his monastery. Lots of action and a bit of comedy. Unfortunately, the fact that Cadderly is a cleric, but can't heal, gets to be a bit annoying. ( )
