Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0890420556, Paperback)

The Task Force on DSM-IV and members of the DSM-IV work groups have chronicled their efforts and the results in the "DSM-IV Sourcebook", which documents the rationale and empirical support for the text and criteria sets presented in DSM-IV. The chapter authors in this fourth and final volume summarize findings from the data reanalyses sponsored by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and from the DSM-IV field trials. This volume also includes final reports by the chairs of each of the 13 work groups in which they discuss the ultimate decisions made about specific disorders.
