Industrial Chemicals is a guide on the mass production of chemicals from production to disposal of waste. It includes diagrams showing the path of materials through the machines and graphs of economic trends for each chemical. It includes general statistics on each process including amount of waste created and percent yield. It is a basic handbook on the production of chemicals. Methods presented may be out-of-date due to the age of the book and pollution laws may of made some processes obsolete. This book can be used by an aspiring chemical engineer to gain a basic understanding of the processes, but should not be assumed to be the current standard.
