Summary: Marty's little sisters,Jenny and Rachel, are trying to get into his room, which he has named a space lab. Marty put a sign on the door that says no girls allowed. Jenny, his youngest sister, gets into his room and puts on his helmet he has been working on. Jenny flies around and when Marty realizes one of the girls took it, he becomes very angry and demands to have it back. When he gets the helmet back, he realizes that he is not sure how to work it. Jenny is reluctant to show him at first, but when she shows him by waving her rattle, he doesn't go very high because he is too heavy. Jenny and Rachel laugh because he can't even go very high in the helmet he was so worried about.

Personal Reaction: The only thing I did not like about this book was the fact that Marty calls Jenny "you little brat!" Other than that, I thought the book was very well-written and humorous. I don't have any brothers so it is hard to relate!

Classroom Extension: I think it could teach a lesson about sharing, being kind to our siblings and forgiving. Marty was very rude and territorial over his room and things in his room. When he asks for Jenny's help, she is hesitant to give him any becuase of the way he acted about her being in his room. ( )
