... volume one, both by Neil Gaiman. I really like the way Gaiman's mind works.
I've also nibbled around the edges of The Essential Rumi, though I'm not really feeling the mystical at the moment. ... and Sweet by Jamie Ford, which I need to be finishing up as my blog tour date is Monday ... yikes!
I also picked up The Essential Rumi and read a few pages in it. ... Jim by Christian Moerk, which I had won from a blog contest.
Then, the mail man brought me two books from PBS:

The ninth book entered was Essential Rumi on Jan. 19 and as of today (24) I have read a total of 12 books. got in before 100 came around
I just finished Essential Rumi. I enjoyed it, don't ask me to discuss it. i read it because it was a square on my library's BINGO game and I needed it to finish a line.
Now I can finish Abhorsen and get back to Passing of the Armies. ... out at the same time!! Can't keep up with that and still try and get books off my own shelves.
I am alternating between Essential Rumi and Abhorsen and hope to get back to Passing of the Armies next week. I only have 8 more on my 50 Challenge to go and then I start a 100 plus the 999. A ... Library called - Plum Spooky came in and one of the first copies in the system, too!
I also brought home Essential Rumi for the bingo game thing.

Of course there is always The Lord of the Rings. Not so Christian, at least overtly.
I am sure none of these books would "convert" you but ... ... away.

I have The Essential Rumi translated by Coleman Barks, and I find it to be a wonderful collection, with a bit from all his different kinds of poems.
