This is an interesting read, FULL of pop culture and trivia references to make it fascinating for fans of either. The poems are engaging, albeit dated to the next few decades or so--past that, I don't see many readers catching all or even most of the references here. Poetry-wise, I'm not sure much here will last, but it is an entertaining and humorous look at where poetry Can go, though it rarely does. For now though, this is a fun read, and certainly a work to fight stereotypes of poems. While they're not works I'll come back to for wisdom or teaching, they are clever and worth a look. ( )
