NCLA Review - Karen Porter combines quotes from famous people, humor, scriptures, life experiences, study questions, prayer, and chocolate recipes as she examines eight ways to help friendships grow and flourish through Christ. She moves through open communication, sharing your faith, encouraging your friend, sharing your Christian experience, being willing to forgive, showing loyalty, sharing your joy, to giving your friend freedom to be herself, and ends up with a delightful blend that will bring pleasure to the reader while you examine your friendships/relationships with fellow Christian women. This book is chock full of chocolate recipes and has study questions and prayers at the end of each chapter. Her narratives speak to a woman's soul, and she compares our love of and need for friendship to that of chocolate. Rating:3—MW ( )
