I’ve been a fan of Roadtrip USA for many years and I look forward to each new edition that hits the bookstore. This voluminous tome is jam packed with valuable information for road trippers (there isn’t an ounce of fluff between the covers). The book covers eleven major trips across the United States from the obvious (Route 66 and the Pacific Coast Highway) to the hidden (Routes 20, 83 and 93). Jensen provides readers with maps, photos and advice on making the most of traveling these roads. No self-respecting road tripper should be without this book in the glove compartment! ( )

There's an updated edition, but this is still fabulous for the armchair traveller and planner. ( )
