I have to admit, I loved these books when I was in 3rd through 5th grade. This one definitely disappointed me however (its predecessor did as well). Is it just my having grown up, or do the plots seem a lot worse? I can't tell. All I know is ... #60 dk: I adore Eoin Colfer and his Artemis Fowl series too! I just got Time Paradox for Christmas so its up there too, because I haven't had a chance to read it yet. 9. After racing through Artemis Fowl and the Time Paradox, I opted for a complete change of pace and am now reading the (still, quite pacey) book Affluenza by Oliver James. It's interesting, and I can see his point, but it all seems a bit too speculative for me, sometimes drawing conclusions ... ... The Journal of Curious Letters (middle-grade fantasy with a fairly good plot but not the best writing style), and Artemis Fowl: The Time Paradox (a decent continuation of the series).

We're very ... I have more on the list. I'm anxious to get started. I started the new Aretemis Fowl Time Paradox last night. Just finished my Twilight reread. We now have The Spook's Mistake and Artemis Fowl and the Time Paradox for Atemisfowl's birthday on 2nd September (Not that I'm not going to read them too!) and to make up the £15 free postage limit on Amazon I ordered Jimmy the Hand as well, now I have all of Feist's books. I finished The Time Paradox and put up my review, it was OK but seemed more cluttered with ideas the author was playing with than a single coherent story. Hopefully the next one will be on par with the Lost Colony.
Currently I am reading Dark Fire by C. J. Sansom. a part of a ... I'll finish the Time Paradox tonight and maybe start Dark Fire. Started listening to Darkly Dreaming Dexter this morning on my commute. I've finished The Time Paradox and I found it to be enjoyable. I did feel that Colfer was getting caught in the same old plot ruts that he's created for himself, but he did a good job of tying everything together in the end with plenty of plausible explanations.
I've got a couple of books in ... I got The Time Paradox today from the library so I'm looking forward to reading it over this weekend. ... started The Shamer's War, which is the last of the Chronicles.

So although I tried, I came home with Artemis Fowl: The Time Paradox by Eoin Colfer and Death Note, Volume 8 by Tsugumi Ohba.
