This is still a fun, slightly angsty high school 'shippy manga. In this volume Haruna realizes that despite his explicit instructions against it, she has fallen for Yoh. For his part Yoh is atypically clueless and doesn't realize Haruna's feelings despite very obvious "hypothetical" questions. As the story progresses things finally move forward between the two although it is obvious that two people with no relationship experience aren't in any position to try and coach one another.

It is kind of surprising to me that I could enjoy such a mundane and contemporary storyline, but the characters are sweetly endearing and earnest. I was also rather surprised to discover this is a longish running series and I'm not quite sure how they'll maintain an interesting storyline although I'm willing to give it a go for now. This would be great for girls looking for innocent storylines of first love. ( )
