Nina is still very funny, and her adventures are still involving, but I don't find this as zingy as the earlier entries in the series. For those who are curious about what it was like to be a not very glamorous single in NY in the 1990's, however, these books provide the answers. ( )

Nina Fischman (a public service lawyer for the elderly in New York City) whose boyfriend, Jonathan, has been a murder suspect ever since his doorman was blown away sitting behind the wheel of Jonathan's car. Nina can't believe her good luck - now she has an easy excuse not to deal with the issue of moving in with Jonathan. And she can't resist getting involved in the murder case.
