presents information sourced from leading experts and sports-governing bodies around the world to give you the most comprehensive book on sports ever to hit the market.

When you are flipping thru the TV and come across a guy wielding fat headed hockey stick and smacking a small white ball towards a small netted goal with two white pipes sticking up from it and you wonder, "What the hell sport am I watching?" this is the book that can tell you. From Hurling to Curling and every sport in between this book gives a brief overview of each. While not all inclusive, it gives just enough with diagrams and illustrations covering the rules, etc. to get you thru the game you just discovered. ( )
