In book four of the series, Percy and his friends try to stop Kronos from taking over the world. ( )

The 4th book in the series has the Labrynth, Pan, Daedalus and several other icons from Greek mythology, as the coming war between the Olympians and Kronos looms closer, the series becomes darker, and things between Percy and Annabeth become more complex. Lots of adventure, humor and emotional roller-coaster rides. ( )

I loved this book when I read it. I recommand this book for anybody that loves greek mythlogy or just loves a good read.
To make the long lovely story short its about this boy named Percy and his 2 best friends. That go on an adventure once again to stop Kronus from taking over the world. Weather he is successful or not is up to you to read and find out.

I enjoyed this book as much as the previous ones in the series. The plot is well thought out and the characters have continued to grow through out the series. Many times, I find later books in a series begin to 'thin out' in terms of plot and character development, but not so with these novels. The issues that the teenagers must deal with are realistic and so are their responses, even though the setting obviously is not. I love how Mr. Riordan weaves the mythology into the fabric of present day and are some of the funniest parts of the book.
