A delight to read. Thank God there's still some intelligence out there. Thanks Glenn! If you like the show, and you haven't been sucked in by the nutcases who seem to be running our courts and controlling our governmental direction, then Beck will bless you. ( )

Foremost a funny book and had to keep a lid on laughing since I read it in the public library. Serious too. Agree wholeheartedly on the chapter regarding free speech and political correctness. Some of Beck's ideas on poverty in America are ones I've held myself after a trip to the Philippines in 1991. In those days only the rich had cars, and the people there were amazed to hear that it is possible to be poor in America and own a functioning car. I know, because I've been poor in America and drove a $700.00 car that did it's job. Believe it or not, I've never heard of the author before, except through this book that I found in the library. I'm guessing most readers before opening the book will already have their minds made up about the author. ( )

I listened to the abridge (I know!) audiobook. I think the full book would have been better.

If you're a fan of Beck then you'll enjoy his narration of his own book. ( )

Glenn Beck's book addresses ALL sorts of issues: from global warming (?) to tipping, Illegal Immigration to weekend movie rentals. I found the chapter on "Political Correctness" especially sobering. In order to not offend somebody, will we lose our Freedom of Speech? Glenn also offers his solutions to these problems. Entertaining and thought-provoking. ( )

Very good common sense book. Easy read. Can be read straight through, or a chapter here and there. ( )
