I just finished the german version of this book and although i normally prefer to read in the authors language i quite enjoyed it.

The story telling is fast paced and begins with several separated storypaths which converge towards the end. Th emain story line is the one of Tikki, a were-tigress whose child gets stolen an who swears terrible vengeance on the sorry metahumans who dared to provoke her wrath. With a strong mothers instinct to protect her child she turns into a relentless huntress with an unencumbered outside view on the society of brawls and concerns.

For my taste there were one or two story lines too many in the beginning and for some there wasnt a real ending i felt. That left some taste of unfinishedness to me. but apart from that it is a nice and easy read for an evening where you just want to relax. Just don't expect an award winning story. ( )
