None. For some masochistic reason, I cannot stop reading this series. It's a freaking train wreck and my eyes are glue to the gruesome destruction of a great story and great female character. ( )vampires, shapeshifters,Amazon received Another one with lots of plot as opposed to a couple of books ago when it felt like the book was just putting Anita with one combination of men and then transitioning to another combination of men. I feel like Hamilton has gotten the series back on track. This is Jason's book and I really liked itIt was nice to read more about him at least. I missed more Jean-Claude though. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm sorry the great hard-boiled supernatural action thriller series became a cheesy pornographic soap-opera. I was a huge Anita Blake fan after the first few volumes.... But now, when everything in the book is just a bad excuse for anther meaningless sex scene... I mean the on the first 250-300 pages of the book nothing happens. Nothing except Anita and her men whining and having sex.... The last 30 pages are as the whole supposed to be. Sometimes I don't now why I'm continue reading the series.... no reviews | add a review
