The art is nice, I like the writing, and along with Marvel's The Dark Tower, it is one of the few comics I actually purchase on a monthly basis. 58. The Gunslinger Born (The Dark Tower Graphic Novels, Book 1) by Peter David Jae Lee is up there for me .. 'The Inhumans', 'The Gunslinger Born' etc ... dark, atmospheric and stylised yet gritty. Great stuff!

I'm now hooked on Marvel's The Dark Tower series. I picked up both The Gunslinger Born and The Long Road Home and am collecting "Treachery" as it comes out. Great storytelling, great artwork. Wow. I am a HUGE Dark Tower fan, and I have been anxiously awaiting this graphic novel version. First of all, the artwork was ... ... stoked. There's also a special edition that contains a DVD with "N" in it's entirety.
As for the graphic novels, I have The Gunslinger Born but not the second Dark Tower one. And yes, Captain Trips is based on The Stand. ... Salems Lot and so forth. I'm looking at the page for the main series now and wondering how to put the graphic novels like The Gunslinger Born in there cleanly. I've been reading graphic novels and children's books for work.
