Another exciting mystery from Dick Francis with the usual horseracing flavour

Another Dick Francis masterpiece. Really get to connect with the hero. Interesting info about photography. Plotline was good. Interesting to note Nore's dislike for the dead photographer battling with admiration for his work and deeds (if not motives). ( )

Book description

Amazon.com Book Description (ISBN 0816132550, Hardcover)

In this morally complex story, jockey Philip Nore sets out to discover the truth about the murder of track photographer George Millace. Slowly, Nore unravels secrets of corruption, blackmail, and murder, and unwittingly sets himself up as the killer's next target. As in all Dick Francis's books, Reflex emphasizes ethical dilemmas and questions of morality rather than graphic violence or explicit sex scenes. At the same time, it offers the intricate plotting and memorable characters that have made the author both a popular and critical favorite.
