Gentle Bible story book with doctrine mixed in. Teaches our hearts asking for God, we cannot see God but we can see His works, how God spoke and how He speaks today, He is one God, Who is everywhere and knows all things, and is holy, almighty, and faithful. God is good and made us good, but sin spoiled all things. God gave us His law, and what sin is. Who is Jesus, and what did He come to do? Who is the Holy Spirit and what is His work? How can we become the children of God? How can we grow as God's children, and how does God help us? What is prayer? What is church? What will happen someday?

When my kids were younger we used this book monthly as a devotional guide. This is a book that is useful in leading children to Christ. It even has some suggested hymns to use with each night's reading.
