Loading... Hairy, Scary, Ordinaryby Brian P. Cleary
None. Same as the other texts in this series, it does what it's intended to very well and I liked it for that. ( )Easy, breezy, broken, blue... Or, in Everett's words... Easy, breezy CoverGirl. Maybe too much TV... I allowed kids to read this book with a learning center about adjectives. It is a cute, humorous book about adjectives. It makes learning fun for the kids and they enjoyed reading it. This book starts off with a simple definition of what an adjective is, and elaborates throughout the text to create a complete understanding of the term. Cleary and the illustrator of this book- Prosmitsky- create a fluent text which could help kids learn about adjectives. The illustrations on the page always correspond with the actual text. It is a playful text that will get kids interested in learning about adjectives. This is a good book to use when teaching adjectives. It is a cartoon book and doesn't really have a story line but has silly rhymes. The adjectives are in color while the rest of the words are in black which helps children identify to adjectives. no reviews | add a review
