... Nights in Rodanthe and House... I look forward to Nights, I loooooooove Nicholas Sparks, I thought the movie version of Message in a Bottle didn't stay true to the story, but they came pretty close. Ted Dekker, I don't know. I thought the book had holes, let's see if the movie helps.

Letter From America ... can't-breathe-snot-running-out-of-your-nose-can-barely-see-the-page-through-your-tears sort of way. Since then, I think Message in a Bottle (mostly for its connection to a very dark time in my life), Stone Butch Blues, and Pay It Forward have earned the grade for that sort of response. I ... ... like philosophies, romantic or any light-hearted feel good novels what about Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook or Message in a Bottle) or Billie Letts (Where the Heart Is)?

I've read and watched Message in a Bottle which is when I decided to always be leery of books made into movies. I absolutely loved the book but did not like the changes made in the movie.

I agree on Nicholas Sparks and have wasted my time on not one, but two of his books - Message in a Bottle as well as the awful The Notebook. In extenuation, they were in a two-for-one deal.
The Historian was dull and pretentious, an invidious mix, ... Cool message, limerts, I considered trying to talk like that.
