Genre: This is a realistic fiction book because the setting, character and events seem very real, although they never really took place. Henry and Mudge experience the snow together (which they call sparkle days) and they play and have a fun time as friends. The second part was about how Henry's family has Christmas Eve dinner and lets Mudge (the dog) join! Finally, Henry, Mudge and the parents go on winter walks and they talk about how warm and cozy winter is and how fun it is to have snow.
