Who knew he was a composer, who palled around New York in the 1930's with Aaron Copeland as well as other writers, painters, charlatans, alcoholics, posers and composers? This is a great autobiography, full of information and gossip and vignettes and scuttlebutt linking Bowles socially and intellectually to his time. ( )no reviews | add a review
