Just alright. No surprises and the heroine got on my nerves. Entertaining at best. ( )

I thought it was an interesting read with alot of action and a few surprises from Rachel. It had a great story and was entertaining throughout....loved it! ( )

On the run from newly-located relatives out for blood, interior decorator Rachel Abbott stumbles across a downed plane and helps the pilot drag the wounded passenger to safety. Lots of handy coincidences and some romantic banter lager, the bad guys get caught.

Snappy dialogue isn't enough to salvage weak plotting. ( )

Another nice Sherlock and Savich novel. The formula still works. ( )

Interior decorator, Rachael, wielding a shotgun to save herself from a hidden gunman. Excellent! More characters in this story, less Savich/Sherlock, but still a great read. ( )

Finding herself in the lake tied to concrete was scary enough but when Rachael Janes Abbott also witnessed the crash landing of Special Agent Jackson Crowne, she found herself stuck in the middle of two sets of assassination plots. Jack was taking long time family friend somewhere safe when the plane blew up under them. He was able to land, kind of, and get to safety with Rachaels help. The attempt on her own life left her not trusting anyone, but could she take a chance and trust this man that literally fell out of the sky at her feet. Finding him to be FBI only made the decision more difficult.

Another wonderful Savich and Sherlock story, the character interaction is once again so great and the subtle growth of feeling between Jack and Rachael are fun too. Some of the story is predictable, but the motif and the ending are a bit of a surprise. The occasional name drop references to previous books are subtle but to some who have not read earlier in this series, it could be a bit annoying (the explanation of who everyone is isn't always there). As part of the series, this is a great addition, I would not suggest it as a stand alone book. ( )

An appropriate title for this FBI series. Coulter can no longer write an original, interesting, or sexy story. Every single character is a bore, and the storyline is decidely ho hum. I don't recommend this book. ( )

It's been a long time since a book grabbed me on the first page, and wouldn't let me put it down. There was an awful lot of action stuffed into this book and it took some real explaining to untangle the plots, more than one bad guy, but Ms. Coulter brought it all together at the end; a satisfying end with all the loose ends neatly tied together. An intense and gritty story of pride and downfall. The latest in Catherine Coulter's FBI series, "TailSpin" is two stories told at once. A shrink to the 'Washington movers and shakers' is struck with an illness that results in him blurting out his clients secrets. Apparently one of them has decided the doctor's death is the best solution. Special Agent Jackson Crowne is flying the doctor to safety when their small plane goes down in a remote area of Kentucky. Their female savior is a woman running for her life. It's only been three days since she saved herself from a watery grave and all she's looking for is safety...a place to hide until she can bring down the powerful clan that wants her dead. Between Jackson and Rachel, and Savich and Sherlock, we are dizzily led from place to place, suspect to suspect, and clue to clue. The pace is brutally quick and the mysteries are shrewdly complex. There's not much romance, but there is non-stop action and if you haven't read Dodd's FBI series, you just don't know what you're missing!! ( )
