I wanted to be an architect when i was young (embarrassingly, it was all Mike Brady's influence...) And i wasn't quite as impressed with this book as i have been with the other 1001 must see before you die books. Admitedly buildings are really something you must see in real 3d life, but so are paintings and gardens and both of those books better represented their subjects. Pictures are mostly small and seemed rather scant. And of course it is all subjective. ( )
