Christian Nonfiction. Religion & Spirituality. Self-Improvement. Nonfiction. HTML:

A psychologist learns from his patients what really works and what doesn't! Many years of counseling have enabled Dr. Henry Cloud to observe people trying to work out the most important issues of life--issues like relationships, career, fulfillment, meaning, pain, hurt, loss, despair and addictions. And here's what he learned: There are some universal principles, similar to gravity, that operate at all times and in every situation that simply must be learned and applied for people to live with strength, purpose and joy. Dr. Cloud gives nine insightful ideas from "Hate Well" to "Play Fair" that reveal to us the truth about our fears, our hopes, our relationships, and above all, about the potential in all of us to grow spiritually. If we sincerely want to "get life right" and quit repeating the same mistakes over and over again, 9 Things You Simply Must Do provides the practical guidance we need to live life to its fullest--every moment.

Dr. Henry Cloud is a clinical psychologist and author of the book, "Boundaries". He writes yet another life changing book with insights into human behavior, including relationships both personal and business, taken from real life examples in his practice. He addresses life problems tackling tough questions on living a successful life. He gives/suggests practical advice that is biblically-based yet not "religious" at all.
Love his style; a humble, honest, mature and direct approach to life. ( )
