... (Y: The Last Man, vol. 8) by Brian K. Vaughan
185. Motherland (Y: The Last Man, vol. 9) by Brian K. Vaughan
186. Whys and Wherefores (Y: The Last Man, vol. 10) by Brian K. Vaughan
21 for the month, plus one reread.
... it is an interesting book, and certainly a conversation starter.
Book 115 is the last of the Y The Last Man comic books, Whys and Wherefores. It was an interesting wrap-up to the series, I will say that.
Book 116 is All Seated on the Ground by Connie Willis. I liked it considerably ... ... ghan
34. Kimono Dragons - Brian K. Vaughan
35. Y: The Last Man, Volume 9: Motherland - Brian K. Vaughan
36. Y: The Last Man, Vol. 10: Whys and Wherefores - Brian K. Vaughan
Whys and Wherefores Y: The Last Man - Book 10
I enjoyed this graphic novel series. In this installment Yorick finally reaches his Beth. And finds out that maybe what you want you shouldn't always get.
It's a nice tidy little wrap up of the series. 9) Kimono Dragons by Brian K. Vaughan
10) Motherland by Brian K. Vaughan
11) Whys and Wherefores by Brian K. Vaughan - I requested the last three Y:The Last Man books from the library at once, because I was tired of having to wait between each book. I'm really glad I did, too, because as ... ... Apes - by Edgar Rice Burroughs - I'm not really sure why I haven't read any Tarzan stuff before now, I really enjoyed it
Y the Last Man: Whys and Wherefores - by Brian K Vaughan - the guy is a genius, and no mistake. Y the Last Man was a fantastic series, well worth reading.
Fables: Good ... ... as patient with Pan as Wendy though!
Graphic Novels:
18. Y: The Last Man - Motherland by Brian K. Vaughan ***
19. Y: The Last Man - Whys and Wherefores **** ... for my Boswell project
More Weird and Wonderful Words by Erin McKean
And I just, a little while ago today, finished Y: The Last Man Whys and Wherefores. Here's to hoping they put out the entire Y: The Last Man set in a single volume. I happened to stop in to the local Barnes & Noble, and in addition to picking up the final volume of Y: The Last Man and a hardcover of The Escapists (by the same writer), I found a few good hardcover titles in the bargain area for $6 each:
Summerland by Michael Chabon
Pontoon by G ... ... time this morning (GMT) are displayed.
This may have to do with them being manual added covers. The cover for book 7 ( Y: The last Man, 10: Whys and Wherefores ) is wrong. I uploaded a different cover which does not display.
